Find your first agent.
An agent is a trigger, a judgment call, and an output. It lives in exactly one box: a lane of your business, and one of three jobs. Observe watches. Identify triages. Build does the work. You start at Observe and earn your way down.
Ten minutes, scored with the same model we use in the room. This is the exercise we run before any agent gets built.
01 Where it hurts02 Six quick answers03 Your box
Check what hurts, up to three. Your first pick is the one we score.
Observe first. A Monday email with last week’s numbers beats an agent making decisions on numbers you’ve never once looked at.
The team picks the box. “I lose four hours a week writing recap emails” is a first agent. “We need a marketing agent” is not.
Then the method takes over. Triage, score, install, run. Read the method.
